You need to understand the difference between the philosophers who wrote the books and the people like Lenin, Stalin, and Mao who did not really follow the words written in the books.

Better yet: you need to look in the mirror and ask yourself why the American Right wing feels so threatened by democracies.

If you're worried about totalitarianism, you should fear the GOP. Unless....you're angling to take advantage of their totalitarianism in some small way.
